Generative AI Policy

This policy governs the responsible use of generative and other AI-assisted technologies by authors, reviewers, and editors to protect research integrity, confidentiality, and accountability. It harmonizes journal practice with field standards and will be reviewed and updated as norms and laws evolve.

Generative AI refers to systems that create new text, images, audio, code, or data outputs from prompts, while non‑generative AI includes tools for classification, extraction, or enhancement that do not autonomously generate new content. Not all AI tools are generative, and any AI‑enabled processing should be transparently described when it materially influences scholarly content.

The peer review process ensures the quality, originality, and academic integrity of articles published in this journal. It aims to uphold the highest standards of scholarly communication through fair, constructive, and transparent evaluation of submitted manuscripts.
